Bio
Romance novelist with a love of the bad boy and the woman who can tame him (but not too much).

Yep, that's me and the spouse about 15 years ago. His black hair is now silver but still long, and after 3 kids, I'm no longer a size 5. But I love this pic and show it off to everyone.

I'm a writer currently published with Amber Quill Press and have several short stories and a novel out for sale:

This journal is about all aspects of writing with a dash of real life thrown in. I list my books here with links, but don't worry. This journal won't be an endless round of reviews and my squees of reviews, or begging for you to buy something. To be honest, that bores me when I read it on other blogs, and I trundle off to more interesting pastures. I hope that won't happen to you when you stop by. I'd like you to hang out with me. I will announce if I have something coming out and will rec works of authors I like as well as lots and lots of art (fan art, fantasy art, whatever catches my fancy). I understand the pressure to promote, promote, promote in whatever way possible, but you can't use this blog to mass-rec your stuff. Sorry.

All comments are screened. There are asshats who lurk on blogs with no other reason than to provide themselves hours of virtual masturbatory entertainment by flaming people and causing general mayhem. If you're one of those, move along. This stage isn't for you and your juvenile need for attention. Be center stage and front somewhere else.

I will post any critique, good and not so good. A reader's viewpoint differs from person to person, and I don't believe anyone writes the perfect work that appeals to everyone. So if you write a constructively worded review, I'll post it. It will help me and possibly any other writer reading it who can avoid making a mistake I made. On the flip side, what some may not like is someone else's favorite plot/characterization/theme, so your critique may generate a sale for me. In the end, it's all good.

All time favorite quote is by my eldest child when she was four: "Today is a good day. I'll be playing in the sun, and I don't have a wedgie." Words to live by.
